Section 5-214 - Access to Inspect Stocks and Records

The Commissioner of Agriculture or his authorized representatives, shall have the authority, right and privilege to enter during regular hours of business the place of any producer, wholesaler, retailer, retail establishment, institution, institutional user, warehouse, cold storage house, or other storage places, trucks or carriers where eggs are stored, and inspect and candle any eggs therein; and shall have the right and privilege to demand access to and inspect all books, records and invoices that, in their judgment would enable them to make a more accurate examination or inspection of eggs.
