Section 40-3 - Officer Duties and Panel Policy

(A) Duties of officers:
(1) The Chair shall preside at all panel
meetings at which the chairman attends and perform all duties prescribed by law
or Panel regulations.
(2) The Chair
may appoint such advisory committees of Panel members and others as may assist
the Panel in carrying out its responsibilities.
(3) The Vice-Chair shall perform the duties
of the Chair if the Chair is absent or disabled. If the office of Chair becomes
vacant, the Vice-Chair will serve until a successor is elected.
(B) The policy of the Panel is that members shall attend regular and special meetings as scheduled, and shall be compensated on a per diem basis when attending meetings or conducting official business for the agency as provided by law for members of state boards, committees, and commissions.
