Delete IBC section 1507.2.6 attachment and substitute the following:
1507.2.6 Attachment.
Asphalt strip shingles shall have a minimum of six (6) fasteners per shingle strip.
Exceptions:
1.
Where the roof slope exceeds twenty (20) units vertical in twelve (12) units
horizontal (20:12), special fastening details may be required by the
manufacturer.
2. Fastening systems
tested by the manufacturer to one hundred ten (110) MPH shall be permitted to
be installed in any wind zone.
