A. Administrative procedures for the licensing of well-drillers, pump installers, water filtration contractors, and water filtration installers shall comply with R.I. Gen. Laws Chapters 5-65, 5-65.2 and the following sections of Part 1 of this Subchapter:

B. Requirement for Written Contract
1. All well
drilling, pump installing, and/or water filtration work, including
the cost of labor and materials, in excess of one thousand dollars
($1,000), must be in writing with a copy of the contract provided to
the customer, unless otherwise directed by the customer.
