Section 280-RICR-30-15-4.16 - Reflectors

A. Every cycle shall be equipped with at least one reflector located on the rear of the cycle. This reflector may be incorporated in the rear tail lamp lens. The reflectors shall be mounted at a height of not less than twenty inches (20") nor more than sixty inches (60") from the ground and shall be visible at nighttime from all distances within three hundred feet (300') to fifty feet (50') from the vehicle when directly in front of lawful upper beams of headlamps.

B. Cause for rejection:

1. Any reflector fails to reflect the required color of light;

2. It has broken or missing reflectors;

3. Any reflector is not securely or properly attached; or

4. If a reflector not located properly.
