A. Jurisdiction - Administrative Penalties
1. Registered
vehicle owners, vehicle lessees, or motor carriers found in violation of the
emission standards in § 2.5.1 of this Part and who have been issued a
vehicle summons by the Rhode Island State Police shall be subject to the Rules
of Procedure of the Rhode Island Traffic Tribunal and R.I. Gen. Laws §
31-41.1-4.
The Rhode Island Traffic Tribunal shall administer the collection of fines
related to this regulation.
