A. Department Investigations. Upon receipt of a complaint regarding a Licensee or any Person required to be licensed, or on its own authority, the Department may initiate an investigation and take action:
1. Against a
Licensee,
2. Against an applicant
for a License or for renewal of a License,
3. Against any Person who is required to be
licensed but is not licensed, and
4. Against any Person who is subject to the
regulatory authority of the Department.
5. All such actions shall be upon such terms
and conditions as are permitted under applicable law and the regulations
adopted pursuant thereto.
B. Responses to Complaints and Investigations
1. The Department may require a Licensee or
Person required to be licensed to file a response to a complaint, question, or
other request within fifteen(15) business days, or within any other time frame
specified by the Department or otherwise required by law.
