A. Licensure by examination. The applicant must present:
1.
Evidence of completion of a baccalaureate or post baccalaureate degree from a
U.S. regionally accredited university or college and course work approved by
the Accreditation Council for Education in Nutrition and Dietetics (ACEND) of
the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics (AND); and
2. Evidence of completion of a Board
approved, planned, continuous experience in dietetics practice of not less than
nine hundred (900) hours under the supervision of a registered dietitian or
dietitian/nutritionist licensed in the state of Rhode Island; or evidence of
completion of an Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics (AND)-approved internship
of not less than nine hundred (900) hours; and
3. Evidence of having successfully passed the
Registration Examination for Dietitians administered by the Commission on
Dietetic Registration.
