Section 139.10 - Advisory Board

(a) The Board is established under authority of the act, to exercise the powers and perform the duties ascribed to it in the act. The Board is appointed by the Governor, and consists of ten members, as follows:
(1) A
representative of the amusement ride manufacturers.
(2) Two representatives of the Pennsylvania
State Showmen's Association.
(3)
Two representatives of the Pennsylvania Amusement Park Association.
(4) A representative of the Pennsylvania
State Association of County Fairs.
(5) A mechanical engineer.
(6) Two public representatives.
(7) The Secretary or a designee, who will be
designated by the Governor as the Chairperson.
(b) The Board will hold public hearings at a time and place that the Board specifies to carry out its responsibilities.
