Section 6100.672 - Cap on start-up cost

(a) A cap on start-up cost will be established annually by the Department.
(b) A waiver in accordance with § 6100.43 (relating to regulatory waiver) may be requested if the waiver conditions in § 6100.43 and one of the following conditions are met:
(1) The start-up cost
provides greater independence and access to the community for an
individual.
(2) The start-up cost
is necessary to meet life safety code standards.
(3) The cost of the start-up activity is more
cost effective than an alternative approach.
