Section 2390.36 - Trainer

(a) If the facility provides training, there shall be a minimum of one trainer for every 10 clients who are currently in the training program.
(b) A trainer shall be responsible for instructing individual clients in specific job skills, interpersonal skills, work attitudes and work habits.
(c) A trainer shall meet one of the following group qualifications:
(1) Possess a bachelor's degree or above from
an accredited college or university in Education, Rehabilitation or a related
field.
(2) Possess an associate's
degree from an accredited college or university in Education, Rehabilitation or
a related field; and 2 years work experience in teaching, training or a
rehabilitation related field.
(3)
Possess a license or certification as a tradesperson in the area for which
training is being provided.
(4)
Four years work experience as a tradesperson in the area for which the training
is being provided.
