Section 451.114 - Electronic Monitoring Program

(a) The board shall approve and implement written policies and procedures for the Electronic Monitoring Program.
(b) The Electronic Monitoring Program policies and procedures shall include the following elements:
(1) A drug testing capability for
appropriate offenders.
(2) The
timely detection of violations.
(3)
The maintenance of a 24-hour-per-day response to detect violations.
(4) A monitoring component to ensure
offenders' compliance with the conditions of the Electronic Monitoring
Program.
(5) Policy and procedure
for responding to major and minor violations of Electronic Monitoring Program
conditions.
