Section 1151a.21 - Growers/processors generally

(a) The qualifications that a grower/processor shall meet to receive a permit are continuing qualifications to maintain the permit.
(b) In addition to any other requirements in the act or this part, a grower/processor shall comply with the following:
(1) A grower/processor may not engage in the
business of growing, processing, possessing, selling or offering to sell seeds,
immature medical marijuana plants, medical marijuana plants, medical marijuana
or medical marijuana products to another medical marijuana organization without
first being issued a permit by the Department and without first being
determined operational by the Department as required under §
1141a.42 (relating to failure to
be operational).
(2) A
grower/processor may not employ an individual at its facility who is under 18
years of age.
