Rule 2543 - Considerations Governing Allowance of Reargument

Reargument before an appellate court is not a matter of right, but of sound judicial discretion, and reargument will be allowed only when there are compelling reasons therefor. An application for reargument is not permitted from a final order of an intermediate appellate court under:

(1) the Pennsylvania Election Code; or

(2) the Local Government's Unit Debt Act or any similar statute relating to the authorization of public debt.
