COURT RULES REPORT NO. 1 OF 1984

Fees for prothonotaries, registers of wills and clerks of orphans' court divisions.

Section 1. Under the authority of 1725 (relating to establishment of fees and charges), the Judicial Council of Pennsylvania adopted schedules of fees for prothonotaries, registers of wills and clerks of the orphans' court divisions of the courts of common pleas.

Section 2. Upon approval of these schedules by the General Assembly by affirmative action or failure to act pursuant to 1725 (relating to establishment of fees and charges) and 503(b) (relating to procedures), the schedules of fees shall become effective as provided in 42 Pa.C.S. § 503(b).

Final action on this report must occur within 120 calendar days following its date of transmittal to the General Assembly excluding days on which either House is not in session because of an adjournment of more than ten days to a day certain.
