Section 735-032-0010 - Registration Plate Fees

(1) ORS 803.570 requires DMV to establish the fee amounts for each registration plate issued and for each pair of plates issued.

(2) The plate fee amounts are calculated by:

(a) Determining the cost to manufacture a single registration plate and a pair of registration plates (cost), respectively, and rounding the cost amount(s) to the next higher dollar; and

(b) Adding $10 for a single plate and $20 for a pair of plates, respectively.

(3) Based on the calculation under section (2) of this rule, registration plate fees are:

(a) $13 for a single plate issued ($3 cost + $10 = $13).

(b) $26 for a pair of plates issued ($6 cost + $20 = $26).
