Section 581-020-0534 - Eligibility: District Improvement Partnership

To be eligible for selection as District Improvement Partnership district:
(1) The district must have 300 or more students enrolled in the district on a date specified by the Department; and
(2) Demonstrate a history of low performance as defined as "below state average" in the following metrics:
(a) 3rd grade reading
achievement for all students as determined by a statewide standardized
assessment;
(b) 3rd grade reading
achievement for student subgroups as determined by a statewide standardized
assessment;
(c) 4th grade through
8th grade reading growth for all students as determined by a statewide
standardized assessment;
(d) 4th
grade through 8th grade reading growth for student subgroups as determined by a
statewide standardized assessment;
(e) 4th grade through 8th grade math growth
for all students as determined by a statewide standardized
assessment;
(f) 4th grade through
8th grade math growth for student subgroups as determined by a statewide
standardized assessment;
(g) 9th
grade chronic absenteeism; and
(h)
5-year cohort graduation rates.
(3) Data used by the Department to select school districts may be from different school years but must by the best data available as identified by the Department.
