Section 581-017-0373 - Funding: Tribal Attendance Promising Program

(1) The Department will equally award grants to based on participation per Tribal Attendance Promising Practices site as selected by one of the nine federally recognized tribes in Oregon. If a Tribal Attendance Promising Practices site either does not participate in the grant or does not meet the requirements of the grant, monies designated for that Tribal Attendance Promising Practices site may be distributed equally among the other a Tribal Attendance Promising Practices sites even if the sites have already received the maximum award under this subsection. ODE will retain funds to create a broad-based messaging campaign and provide technical support and training for family advocates.
(2) Grantees shall use funds received for activities outlined in the participation proposal including the hiring of community-based family advocate(s) based on their particular district need.
(3) Grantees must be able to expend the funds for allowable purposes specified in the request for proposal within the grant timeline according to acceptable accounting procedures.
