(1) The Oregon School for the Deaf shall maintain class sizes and teacher assignments which promote effective learning consistent with the outcomes expected of each Individualized Educational Program (IEP).
(2) In determining class size, the following shall be considered:
(a) The teacher-student
ratio of each class;
(b) The total
number of students assigned per teacher;
(c) The severity of students'
needs;
(d) The support staff
available to each teacher;
(e) The
nature of the instructional program in relation to the teacher's professional
preparation; and
(f) The
appropriateness of instructional facilities and equipment.
