There shall be a bell or gong at the ring no higher than the floor level of the ring. The bell or gong shall be of a clear tone so that the contestants may easily hear it. The promoter shall provide timekeepers with standard timekeeper's equipment and shall obtain approval of such equipment from the Director no later than 72 hours prior to the commencement of the event.
