Whenever a licensed boxer is under contract, if applicable, to participate in a contest and is unable because of injuries or illness to take part in such contest, the boxer (or the boxer's manager) shall immediately report that fact to the Director, and the boxer shall be required to submit to an examination by a physician designated by the Commission physician member. The examination fee of the physician shall be paid by the boxer, except if the club has requested an examination, it shall pay the cost thereof.
