Section 230-145-0016 - When a Competitor is Deemed Down

To be considered a grounded competitor either both hands (palms or fists) need to be down, or any body part(s), with the exception of a single knee, other than the soles of the feet are touching the fighting area floor. Any time both knees, an arm, hip, buttocks, back, chest, head, leg, etc. are in contact with the fighting area floor that competitor is considered grounded.
