Section 230-145-0001 - Allowance of Combat Jiu Jitsu to be held in a fenced area or on Open Grappling Mat

(1) All Combat Jiu-Jitsu events held in the State of Oregon must be conducted in accordance with ORS Chapter 463 and the applicable rules set forth in OAR chapter 230.

(2) The provisions of this section do not apply to events held on land controlled by an Oregon Indian Tribe unless governed by an intergovernmental agreement between the Oregon State Athletic Commission and an Oregon Indian Tribe.

(3) Subject to the provisions of OAR 230 Division 70, combat jiu jitsu events may be held in a ring, fenced area, or on an open mat if approved by the Administrator.
