(1) All unarmed combat sports events held in the State of Oregon must be conducted in accordance with ORS Chapter 463 and the applicable rules set forth in OAR Chapter 230.

(2) The provisions of this section do not apply to events held on land controlled by an Oregon Indian Tribe unless governed by an intergovernmental agreement between the Oregon State Athletic Commission and an Oregon Indian Tribe.

(3) All Muay Thai/ Kickboxing events must be held in a ring unless otherwise approved by the Administrator.

(4) At the discretion of the Administrator, if requested by the promoter, or the competitors, generally allowed techniques, such as elbow strikes, may be removed from a bout and treated as fouls.
