As soon as a fighter has been knocked down, the official timekeeper shall begin calling the count (from 1 to 10) while the referee directs the opponent to a neutral corner. After the referee has directed the opponent to a neutral corner, the referee shall return to the fallen fighter and shall count over the fighter, picking up the count from the timekeeper.
