Bear seasons will be held when authorized by the Oklahoma Wildlife Conservation Commission. Bear seasons will be listed in the Oklahoma Hunting Guide in years when available. Archery bear license must be purchased before October
1. Primitive firearms bear license must be purchased by midnight the Friday before the deer/bear muzzleloader season. An unfilled archery bear license shall be valid for bear muzzleloader season. Lifetime license holders are not exempt from the purchase of a bear license.
