Section 800:25-40-7 - Department responsibilities

The following are some of the basic responsibilities of the Department to Cooperators and OLAP sportspersons in regards to the Oklahoma Land Access Program:
(1) The Department shall evaluate habitat and lease activity opportunities using standardized methods as specified in the OLAP walk-in area evaluation document.
(2) The Department shall provide:
(A) OLAP lease agreement
forms.
(B) Signs indicating the
type and duration of lease activities on the OLAP walk-in area.
(C) Law enforcement on the OLAP walk-in
area.
(D) Current and accurate maps
in digital format for OLAP walk-in areas detailing the type and duration of
lease activities. Hard copy maps are provided but cannot be guaranteed to be
current or accurate due to enrollment of OLAP walk-in areas throughout the
year.
(E) Clear signs denoting any
changes in access or lease activities at current and former OLAP walk-in areas
that may not be reflected in the hard copy map atlas.
