Section 800:25-34-3 - Selection criteria for auction by second party

The Commission shall consider the following criteria in selecting the participant(s) for the auction(s) and shall select the participant it considers best qualified.

(1) The organization's goals and objectives relating to wildlife management;

(2) The methods used by the organization to achieve its goals and objectives relating to wildlife management;

(3) The organizations experience in raising funds for wildlife management;

(4) The financial stability and integrity of the organization;

(5) Information on how the auction would be conducted, including potential revenues which would be returned to the Department as well as those revenues that would be kept by the organization, and justification for such estimate;

(6) An explanation of the scope of marketing for the auction;

(7) Any other information which the Commission deems appropriate in a given year.

(8) A Federal Permit is required in addition to the state permit, if migratory birds, threatened or endangered species are to be collected.
