Section 800:25-19-5 - Species of special concern

The following is the criteria for listing special concern species:

(1) Category I Species. The classification of Category I species involves documentation of an extremely restricted population, distribution or habitat or other factors which may adversely affect long-term survival in Oklahoma of a currently stable population.

(2) Category II Species. The classification of Category II species involves concern over the long-term survival indicated by technical experts and insufficient documentation to adequately assess the population status or trend in Oklahoma.
