(a) The Director of the Oklahoma Department of Wildlife Conservation will determine acceptability of applications and may issue Shoot-to-Kill Field Trial Permits subject to the following rules. [29 O.S., Section 4-109, A-C].
(1) The area where the taking of birds will
occur during a retriever field trial shall be limited to area indicated on the
permit.
(2) Birds taken legally
during an authorized shoot-to-kill retriever field trial may be disposed of in
any legal manner.
(b) Any person taking birds during an authorized retriever trial must possess a current valid hunting license and must be an official representative appointed as "official gun" by the sponsoring organization.
