(a) Areas open for the contract harvesting of gizzard shad for commercial purposes include the first one-half (1/2) mile below any man-made dam, except the area below Tenkiller Ferry, Kaw, and Keystone Dams.

(b) All areas to be commercially fished for gizzard shad shall be assigned by the Wildlife Department Game Ranger assigned to the county which the area is located within. The specific area, Ranger's approval, and Director's approval shall appear on the licensee's contract application.

(c) All "safety zone" restrictions below dams must be observed (safety zone is that water area below any dam for a distance of fifty (50) yards from the base of the dam).
