Section 800:10-1-6 - Taking of bullfrogs

(a) Bag limit. No person shall, during any one day, take, attempt to take, kill or harvest more than fifteen (15) bullfrogs.

(b) Methods of taking. To catch, kill, take or attempt to take bullfrogs by hook and line, gig, spear, bow and arrow or other methods except firearms, a person must possess a valid Oklahoma fishing license unless exempt under 29 O.S., Supp. 1988, Section 4- 110. To hunt, kill, take or attempt to take bullfrogs by firearms, a person must possess a valid Oklahoma hunting license unless exempt under 29 O.S., Supp.1988, Section 4-112.

(c) Area restrictions. Use of firearms and the taking of bullfrogs on Federal reservoirs and land is subject to Federal restrictions. The entire Wichita Mountains Wildlife Refuge is closed to taking bullfrogs by any method.
