Oklahoma Administrative Code
Title 625 - Oklahoma Savings and Loan Board

Current through Vol. 41, No. 7, December 15, 2023

Effective 7-1-93, the Oklahoma Savings and Loan Board was abolished and rulemaking authority was transferred to the State Banking Commissioner. Pursuant to SB 31 (1993), the rules of the Savings and Loan Board "shall continue in effect until such rules . . . are amended or repealed by rule of the State Banking Commissioner" [Laws 1993, c. 183, § 31(C)]. In 2000, the Banking Commissioner promulgated several amendments to rules in this Title 625, which were published in the 2000 OAC Supplement and the 2001 Edition of the OAC. However, as of the cutoff date for the 2006 Edition of the OAC, the Commissioner had not promulgated rules in Title 85 to replace the rules in Title 625. Therefore, on 11-1-06, the rules in Title 625 were editorially renumbered and moved to Chapter 25 of the Banking Department's Title 85 [OAC 85:25]. Also, pursuant to SB 31, "[a]ny references to the Oklahoma Savings and Loan Board in [the] rules [in OAC 85:25] . . . shall mean the State Banking Commissioner" [Laws 1993, c. 183, § 31(B)].
