Section 540:25-1-6 - Assistance to communities and others seeking physicians

The Health Care Workforce Training Commission will perform the following procedures in helping to place a physician in an Oklahoma community:
(1) The Health Care Workforce Training Commission provides all communities, agencies, clinics, and private physicians seeking physicians to fill particular practice needs with a list of resource persons and guidelines which can provide assistance in the screening process.
(2) The Health Care Workforce Training Commission asks for information on its Physician Information Worksheet which can be of assistance to community leaders, agencies, clinics, and private physicians in their assessment of prospective physicians.
(3) Staff members of the Health Care Workforce Training Commission will provide a community with information which has been obtained from an appropriate professional or licensing organization.
