Section 432:1-5-1 - Hearings

(a) Authority to hold hearings. The Commission may hold hearings on any matters within its jurisdiction under 52 O.S., Section 700, et seq. either upon its own motion or upon written request therefor by any person aggrieved by any act, threatened act or failure to act of the Commission, or by any report, regulation, rule or order of the Commission, including the denial of a request for a Refund under Chapter 10 of the Commission's Rules.

(b) Request for hearing. The written request for a hearing should specify the grounds to be relied upon as a basis for relief requested at the hearing.

(c) Time for requesting hearing. The written request for a hearing must be filed with the commission within ten (10) days of receipt of the notice of the Commission's act, including the approval of a Refund Committee's recommendation to deny a Refund, threatened act or failure to act.

(d) Attendance at hearing. All hearings shall be open to the public.
