Section 432:1-3-1 - Organization

(a) The Commission shall be organized in accordance with Sections 700, 701, 702, 706 and 707 of Title 52 of the Oklahoma Statutes. The powers and duties of the Commission shall be as set forth in 52 O.S., Section 701.
(b) Membership on the Commission shall be determined in accordance with 52 O.S., Section 700.
(c) The Commission shall hire an executive director who shall be charged with the duty of administering and enforcing the acts under the supervision of the Commission and in accordance with its policies.
(d) The Commission shall establish advisory committees, to serve at the pleasure of the Commission, to provide advice and counsel to assist the Commission in the discharge of its duties. Membership on such advisory committees may be Commission members or any individual with particular knowledge relevant to the interests of the Commission.
