In order to assure that OJA and contract facility staff are aware of the rights of juveniles and the responsibilities of staff, the facility administrator or designee shall give each staff member a copy of the rules in this Part as part of a new staff member's orientation. The facility director shall assure that each staff member receives an initial orientation on the rules in this Part within 30 days of employment and comprehensive training at least annually. The Advocate General or designee along with the facility administrator shall share the responsibility for training staff. The facility administrator or designee shall maintain a system to document compliance with the training requirement.
