Section 376:1-1-1 - Purpose

(a) The Council on Judicial Complaints is established by the Legislature at 20 O. S. §§ 1651, et seq. The purpose of the Council on Judicial Complaints is to provide a method for accepting and investigating complaints made against judges for violations of Oklahoma law and the Code of Judicial Conduct.

(b) Rules have been adopted by the Council to implement the requirements of the statutes and to provide efficient and impartial administration of the judicial complaint process.
