Chapter 5 - Oklahoma State Bureau of Investigation Commission Ethics and Conflicts of Interest
Section 375:5-1-2 - Identifying activities in which Commission members shall not participate

(a) Commission members shall not participate in any portion of OSBI briefings, Commission meetings, or other business of the OSBI Commission concerning matters that the member has reason to believe:

(1) May create a conflict of interest between the OSBI and the member's personal or business interests.

(2) Tend to create the appearance of impropriety by virtue of the member's participation, for any reason.

(b) Commission members shall not participate in the representation of, nor accept remuneration from any private person, firm, or corporation in any matter which concerns an OSBI investigation, and shall immediately notify the Director and Chairman of the Commission for Commission approval before accepting such representation or shall withdraw from every representation upon discovery of any potential conflict with the OSBI.
