Section 375:25-3-19 - Extension of time

(a) The time for doing any act prescribed or allowed under these Rules may be extended by the hearing examiner upon written motion filed prior to the expiration of the applicable period of time. The motion shall state good cause for such extension of time.

(b) A respondent must seek and obtain a continuance after receiving the Notice of Hearing on the Merits form the OSBI, if the date of hearing is inconvenient. If the respondent requests additional continuances, it shall be granted for good cause shown. The respondent shall file a written request with the OSBI noting the reason for the additional continuances. In cases involving denial or suspension of a license pursuant to §1290.11 (A)(1) of the Act, the existence of a pending expungement case (pursuant to 22 O. S. §18-19) shall not constitute good cause for continuance.
