Chapter 10 - OSBI Commission Procedure for Handling Complaints
Section 375:10-1-3 - Resolving complaints

The OSBI Director and OSBI Commission shall resolve complaints in the following manner:

(1) It is the responsibility of the Director of the OSBI to make all attempts to resolve the complaint and take appropriate action.

(2) The complainant has the right to present the complaint before the OSBI Commission if he/she feels the need.

(3) The Director of the OSBI shall provide a report to the OSBI Commission, at the next regular meeting, of all written complaints indicating the disposition of each.

(4) Any complaint the OSBI Commission desires to review shall be placed on the agenda for the next regular meeting as directed by the Commission Chairman. Any unresolved complaint may be presented to the OSBI Commission at its next regular scheduled meeting.

(5) The Director shall provide all information, available by law, to the OSBI Commission and provide proper notification to the complainant of when and where to appear. The OSBI Commission Chairman shall advise the Director of other witnesses or evidence the Commission wishes to examine.

(6) The OSBI Commission shall take action as they deem appropriate on unresolved complaints according to law and Commission rules.
