Universal Citation: OK Admin Code 35:45-1-6
Current through Vol. 41, No. 13, March 15, 2024

The Oklahoma Department of Agriculture through statutory authority and the adoption and enforcement of rules maintains water quality in areas of jurisdiction where beneficial uses are supported. This is accomplished by removing the threat to water quality where beneficial uses would be in danger of not being supported. In cases where beneficial uses are not being met, remedial action will be implemented to restore the beneficial use of the water. The required WQSIP elements are presented by jurisdictional area. The Oklahoma Department of Agriculture WQSIP will evolve to adapt to future changes in the Oklahoma Water Quality Standards and implementation criteria of the standards.
