Section 325:45-1-6 - Use of permitted substances

(a) Except as otherwise authorized by Commission rules:
(1) no horse carrying a
prohibited substance in its body shall be brought within the enclosure, entered
into a race, or participate in a race;
(2) no horse carrying a permitted substance
in its body with a concentration exceeding listed thresholds shall participate
in a race; or
(3) no horse carrying
a naturally occurring substance in its body with a concentration exceeding the
concentration such substance could occur naturally shall participate in a
race.
(b) Any substance that masks or screens the presence or concentration of prohibited substances, permitted substances, or naturally occurring substances; or prevent or delay testing procedures shall be considered a prohibited substance.
