(a) Public health nursing services must be performed at a main clinic site, satellite clinic or mobile clinic site that is open to the public, or a member's home.
(b) Clinic visits may include but are not limited to services in the following areas:
(1) health promotion and
counseling;
(2) medication
management;
(3) nursing assessment,
treatment and diagnostic testing;
(4) home visits;
(5) nursing treatments;
(6) immunizations;
(7) administration of injectable
medications;
(8) medication
management and the direct observation of the intake of prescribed drugs to
treat tuberculosis (TB); and
(9)
case management for TB, first time mothers and their infant children, and high
risk pregnant women.
