Section 310:410-5-6 - Termination of benefits

(a) Benefits under the WIC program shall terminate if:
(1)
The child reaches the age of sixty (60) months;
(2) The woman is more than twelve months (12)
since the delivery of her last child and is not pregnant; or
(3) The family income no longer meets the
program limits;
(b) Sanctions will be sought against any participant who:
(1) Provides status information which is
false; or
(2) Applies for benefits
under multiple names, multiple times, or multiple organizations.
(c) Sanctions may include:
(1) Counseling;
(2) Suspension of benefits;
(3) Termination of benefits; and/or
(4) Repayment of benefits.
