(a) Furnishings.
(1) All furniture,
windows, shades, draperies, floors, floor coverings, walls, ceilings, and other
equipment and appurtenances shall be kept clean.
(2) All furniture, windows, shades,
draperies, floors, floor coverings, walls, ceilings, and other equipment and
appurtenances must be maintained in good repair.
(b) Beds, bedding and linens.
(1) All beds, springs, mattresses, bedding
and linens, shall be in good repair.
(2) All beds, springs, mattresses, bedding,
and linens shall be kept clean.
(3)
A minimum of two sheets and one mattress cover of appropriate size shall be
provided for each bed. A pillow cover and a pillow caseshall be provided for
each pillow.
(4) Mattresses,
pillows, and any bedding appearing soiled or stained shall be subjected to a
cleaning and sanitizing process, or removed from service. Such items found in
service shall be ordered removed from service and shall be returned to service
only after cleaning, sanitizing, and stain removal.
(c) Service.
(1) Bar soap and other individually packaged
used personal hygiene items left by departing guests shall not be reused for
customer service. Used hygiene items can be donated to non-profit shelters,
Food Banks, or other similar establishments.
(2) All sheets, pillow cases, and towels
shall be changed after each occupancy.
