Section 310:210-7-11 - Air for removal of hair from patron

The use in barber shops, schools, and colleges of compressed air with pressure not to exceed three (3) pounds per chair is permissible to remove loose hair from the patron. The use of vacuumtype devices for the removal of loose hair is approved, provided the portion of the device coming in contact with the patron is easily removed and so constructed and of such material as to be easily cleaned and sanitized and shall be sanitized prior to use on each patron.
