Section 260:25-27-78 - Termination of participation

(a) Participation in the program shall end on the first of the following dates:
(1) The date the program ends.
(2) The date a parent announces to the
service provider as a child's last day at the center.
(3) The date the service provider determines
a:
(A) child no longer meets the eligibility
requirements for the center.
(B)
parent no longer meets eligibility and priority requirements for any licensed
space.
(C) parent or child is in
violation of the policies of the center.
(D) parent or child is an immediate threat or
danger at the center.
(b) If the service provider removes a child from the program because of one of the reasons listed in (a)(3) of this Section, the service provider shall provide the parent with written notice. The notice shall include reasons for the termination and a description of the procedure by which the parent may appeal to the Administrator.
