Subchapter 7 - Interpretation of Rules
Section 255:1-7-3 - Severability

If any section, sentence, clause or phrase of the Rules and Regulations of the Board shall be held, for any reason, to be inoperative or unconstitutional, void, or invalid, the validity of the remaining portion of these Rules and Regulations shall not be affected thereby, it being the intention of the State Board of Equalization in amending its Rules and Regulations that no portion or provision herein shall become inoperative or fail by reason of the unconstitutionality or invalidity of any portion or provision, and the Board does hereby declare it would be severally passed and adopted provisions contained herein separately and apart from one another.
