Section 150:55-7-2 - Application requirements

(a) The application for participation in the Urban Main Street program shall be made available during an annual application workshop conducted by the Oklahoma Department of Commerce in September of each year.

(b) The application shall include the following information:

(1) The name of the municipality making application;

(2) A copy of the resolution passed by the municipal governing body showing support for the Urban Main Street program;

(3) A copy of the resolution passed by the board of directors of the designated non-profit partner;

(4) The name, title, address and phone number of the contact person;

(5) A set of no more than thirty-six (36) color slides of the project area;

(6) A list of all city council/commissioners including their phone numbers and mailing addresses;

(7) Letters of financial commitment from all funding sources with dollar amounts indicated for a period of time of at least one year and preferably three years;

(8) A completed itemized budget for the first year;

(9) A map showing the project area;

(10) A map designating all current zoning within and adjacent to the project area;

(11) An existing land use map of the central business district; and

(12) Letters of support for the project from businesses, associations, citizens and institutions.
